Occup Health Nurse II (NE) VQ
Responsibilities Performs health screens, drug screens and surveillance activity as required by contracted company policies and regulatory agency requirements. Assess employee illness/medical concerns and provides follow-up referral. Investigates incident reports. Provides employee care and follow-up as indicated. Documents all interventions appropriately and inputs into data system. Assists in maintenance of OSHA 300 log per company policy. Provides appropriate case management for workers with work related injuries. Demonstrates excellent customer services skills and serves as a liaison between ViQuest and the contracted company.
ADN required. Current NC RN licensure required. Certified Occupational Health Nurse preferred. Pulmonay Function Testing certification within 3 months of employment. Audiometric Certification within 3 months of employment. CPR certification required. 2-3 years experience required in emergency nursing, general med-surgery nursing, occupational health, public health or infection control. Certified Occupational Helath Nurse through ABOHN may substitute for one year of experience.
