Systems Analyst III UHS
Responsibilities Perform analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of HIS applications, which are complex using vendor supplied tools and necessary coding language/ programming tools. Perform systems software installation and maintenance tasks. Provide general support and problem solving for hospital applications/systems. Monitor quality management and improvement. Assist with professional development of staff through training support activities and function as a resource for System Analyst I-II, and other departmental staff.
Associate college degree in Computer Science or related healthcare field required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of four years information systems experience, including broad based knowledge of DP hardware and software; experience in supervision of computer personnel; experience in a variety of microcomputer/mainframe operating system environment; or, extensive experience designing and developing applications software required. One additional year of related experience may be substituted for one year of the required experience with a maximum substitution of two years or additional years of related experience beyond the requirement may be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis. Appropriate certification(s) may be substituted for the required education as long as the experience is met; equivalency of certification to education will be determined based on the specific certification.
