Bio Medical Technician II
Responsibilities Completes performance, assurance and safety tests on medical equipment.
Maintains and repairs selected pieces of Biomedical equipment. Calibrates selected pieces of Biomedical equipment. Provides inservice training on selected pieces of Biomedical equipment. Maintains proper documentation in compliance with JCAHO and other regulatory agencies. Takes call as needed.
Associate degree or Advanced Diploma in Electronic Technology, Electronic Servicing, Computer Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering required. 3-4 years on the job training as a Biomedical Technician required. Additional experience may be substituted for up to one year of education; additional education may be substituted for up to one year of experience.
