Research Nurse Specialist
Responsibilities Assist faculty with educating residents, medical student and others on general research methods including systems for interpreting the scientific literature. Assist faculty and others in study design, data analysis, interpretation for their research projects. Preparation of sponsored proposals. Serve as the liaison with national study groups, pharmaceutical companies and other trauma centers for multi-site clinical trials research.
Master's in Nursing with current NC RN licensure and EMS Education required. Four to five years of previous experience in the management of critically injured patients including ED and ICU experience, publishing and presenting papers, and clinical trials experience required. May substitute BSN degree with additional four years of nursing or nursing research experience for required education.
