Psychologist I
Responsibilities Serves as a clinical resource for the department. Providing clinical expertise/consultation with members of the department. Handles difficult/complicated cases, using clinical expertise and teaching junior department personnel advanced skills. Diagnosis mental disorders. Applies various psychological principles in the treatment of psychiatric and behavioral disorders. Serves as a consultant and teacher to physicians, staff, patients, families and other agencies. Other related work as assigned by the manager of Psychology.
PhD or Psy.D in Clinical, Counseling or related area of Psychology with three to four years experience as a practicing psychologist in NC required. Current NC Psychologist licensure required.
Other Information Regular Full Time (1.0 FTE). Position is to support the Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation Program.
