Lab Support Tech I

Responsibilities

Prepare patient specimens for laboratory testing. Process patient request and perform venipuncture, skin puncture, and arterial punctures on patients. Monitor computer system. Maintain documentation of activities. Clean equipment and area. Serves as an information resources regarding specimen requirements for testing.

H.S. graduate plus up to one year additional education in computer science or medical fields required. 1-2 years previous experience in a medical setting required. Phlebotomy certification preferred.
