MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST I

Responsibilities

Prepare patient specimens for lab testing and perform tests. Monitor results for quality and validity. Communicate results timely, especially life threatening results. Maintain documented records and clean lab equipment and environment.

Four year college degree with major in Medical Technology or a BS in Basic Science with experience to qualify for ASCP Technologist level certification is required. ASCP eligibility required for one of the following: MT, BB, C, H, M, or MP.
